BAPA Session 2 - Period 3 - Writing Skills 8

Writing Skills (8th grade)

Students will participate in hands-on writing practice to develop grade-appropriate writing skills. Students will be separated by grade, and classes are designed to help students improve and reinforce their writing skills while making learning enjoyable. All two-week session will include the specific focus areas described below.

Session 2 (7/3-7/14)   Develop topic or thesis statements, organize ideas, concepts, and information using strategies such as definition, classification, comparison/contract, and cause/effect.
