6th Grade Math : Students will participate in interactive learning that reinforces core Math topics through fun activities designed to make learning enjoyable and memorable. Classes are designed to help students improve and reinforce their math skills while having fun. Topics will include material from common textbooks.

  • Roman numerals
  • Arabic numeral
Decimal number systems
 
Unit 2 - Whole Numbers: Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide
  • Order of operations
Pemdas (P – Parentheses, E – Exponents, M – Multiplication,
D – Division, A – Addition, S – Subtraction)
 
Unit 3 – Geometry
 
Unit 4 - Decimals: Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide
 
Unit 5 - Data Management
 
Unit 6 - Measurement (Metric Conversions, Surf Area & Vol)
 
Unit 7 - Transformational Geometry
 
Unit 8 - Fractions, Percent, Decimals, Ratios, Rates
 
Unit 9 - Measurement (Perimeter, Area, Surf Area, Vol)
 
Unit 10 - Patterns in Numbers (Graphing & Geometric)
